Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump squared off one last time at the final presidential debate, and IPFW students and faculty met at the Honors Center to watch and discuss the events. Earlier in the semester, the Honors Program also hosted the first presidential debate and the vice presidential debate. There were almost 60 students at each of the presidential debates. Professor of political science Mike Wolf explained that these debate parties were so important to IPFW students because it gives students a place to watch and discuss the debates, and become excited about the political process.
Local news once again covered the event. See WFFT’s coverage here, which focused on student reactions after the debate. Or check out 21 Alive’s coverage, which featured an interview with Wolf about the importance of the debates and the watch parties. For more on the previous debates, see this Endeavors post.
